Veritas School's
Fourth Annual Teaching Conference
Train Up a Child...
August 4 & 5, 2011
Are you a teacher or
parent, whether with a classical Christian school, private Christian
school, or in a homeschool setting? Then join the teachers, staff, and
board of Veritas School (plus some special guests!) for a two-day
conference that will ground you in a mission-oriented philosophy of
classical Christian education, as well as provide practical help for
teaching all grades (K-12) and in day-to-day school operations.
Featuring Plenary Speaker Matt Whitling
Mr. Whitling is well
known throughout the classical-Christian-school community for his highly
informative, useful, and entertaining presentations on discipline, both
in the home and K-12 classroom. The one comment heard repeatedly from
attendees of the annual ACCS conference has been how much they enjoyed
and appreciated Mr. Whitling's talks. His proposed plenary topics
include Covenant Discipline, Education and the Trinity, and Sins of the
Classroom. He may also be speaking in several of the breakout sessions
on topics such as Classroom Management and Imitation in Writing (a
practicum). Whether you teach in a private school or at home, or are a
parent, you will definitely not want to miss hearing what Mr. Whitling
has to say on these subjects! Please pass this information along to
anyone you know who fits into one of the above categories. We promise
they will thank you for it!
