One of the best parts of our auction is the incredible art work created by our kids!  Tabitha Cooper, who serves on our committee, is the creative brain behind these incredible pieces and she needs our help to get started.  Please see the message from her below and get in touch if you can help with any of the following requests.  You can reach out to her directly if you’re able to help.

As we did last year, we’ll be sending regular emails communicating our latest activities, need for donations and need for volunteers/assistance, so please continue to watch for emails from us and announcements in your Nota Bene.

This year we’re getting things started earlier, and now that I’ve got one year under my belt, I know I need more help.  I’m asking for volunteers to assist me in the classrooms, volunteers to help with more specialized needs, and supply donations.  If you can assist in the classroom or help with any of the items listed below, please reach out to me directly right away.  Projects have already begun!   

  Specialized volunteers needed are:

·         Quilters

·         Carpenters

·         Photographer

·         Stain glass designer

·         Experiences ceramic painter

·         Basket/leather weaving

·         Knitters

 Art Project supplies needed:

·         Lumber

·         Solid color fabrics

·         Ribbon, Lace, Yarn

·         Batting

·         Unfinished ceramic dining dishes

·         Famous piece of art reprint on canvas (i.e. Mona Lisa, Van Gogh self-portrait, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Starry Night, Café Terrence at Night, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, The Great Wave of Kanagawa)
